Why am I running

As a long-time resident of Solon for over 20 years, a local business owner, and a parent, I have had the opportunity to experience the diverse offerings of our community, including its schools, recreation centers, parks, and city services. While I had not initially envisioned pursuing political office, my perspective shifted following a challenging experience four years ago when I sought a variance for my property. This experience motivated me to become more engaged and to give back to our community.

In 2020, I was honored to be appointed by the mayor to serve on the Solon Planning Commission, filling a vacancy at that time. My primary objective has always been to advocate for the residents and business community of Solon, and I have actively worked toward that goal on numerous occasions.

I am running for City Council to help ensure our community continues to thrive now and into the future. I believe it is important to have dedicated leadership that effectively represents the interests of our residents. If elected, I will prioritize transparency, responsible management of public funds, and the consideration of innovative ideas to enhance our community. My commitment is to work diligently on behalf of residents and to promote positive change for Solon.
